OFFICIAL RULES – The Affordable Dream Sweepstakes
NO PURCHASE OR DONATION NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE OR DONATION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.
1. SPONSOR & ADMINISTRATOR
The Affordable Dream Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") is sponsored and administered by The Affordable Dream Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization headquartered in Indiana EIN
2. ELIGIBILITY
Open only to legal residents of the United States (excluding residents of New York, Florida, and Rhode Island) who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. Employees, officers, and directors of The Affordable Dream Foundation, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible to enter or win. Void where prohibited by law.
3. ENTRY PERIOD
The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. CST on August 31, 2025 and ends at 11:59 p.m. CST on February 14, 2026 (the "Entry Period").
4. HOW TO ENTER
(A) Donation Entry: Participants may receive entries by making donations in designated tiers via the official website [Insert URL]. Each donation tier corresponds to a specified number of entries.
(B) Free Entry: To enter without donating, print your full name, address, email address, phone number, and date of birth on a 3"x5" card and mail it in a stamped envelope to: The Affordable Dream Foundation, P.O. Box [Insert], [City, State, ZIP]. Limit one (1) mail-in entry per household.
Mail-in entries must be postmarked by February 8, 2026, and received by February 10, 2026
5. DRAWING & WINNER NOTIFICATION
One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted on or about December 25, 2025, from all eligible entries received. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. The potential winner will be notified by phone and/or email and must respond within five (5) calendar days to confirm eligibility and acceptance.
Failure to respond in time or failure to meet eligibility requirements will result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.
6. PRIZE
Grand Prize: A single-family residence located in Valparaiso, Indiana, appraised at approximately $950,000. The home is provided "as-is," subject to ongoing renovations completed prior to winner possession.
Prize Conditions:
- Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes, title transfer, insurance, and any other fees associated with the property.
- Winner must accept the property within 60 days of award or forfeit prize.
- Prize is not transferable, assignable, or redeemable for cash.
- A completed and signed IRS Form W-9 is required. Winner will receive a Form 1099 for the prize value.
7. PUBLICITY RELEASE
By accepting the prize, the winner agrees to allow The Affordable Dream Foundation to use their name, image, likeness, and story for promotional and marketing purposes in any media, worldwide, without additional compensation or approval, unless prohibited by law.
8. GENERAL CONDITIONS & RELEASE OF LIABILITY
By entering, all participants agree to:
- Be bound by these Official Rules and decisions of the Sponsor.
- Waive and release the Sponsor, its directors, affiliates, partners, employees, agents, successors, and assigns from any and all liability, including but not limited to personal injury, death, or property damage, arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, or misuse of the prize.
Sponsor is not responsible for:
- Lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, stolen, or misdirected entries.
- Technical malfunctions, human error, or other causes that may impair the administration, security, fairness, or integrity of the Sweepstakes.
- Delivery delays, ownership transfer complications, tax assessments, or damage to prize property before or after transfer.
Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend the Sweepstakes in the event of fraud, technical failure, force majeure, or other causes beyond its control.
9. TAXES
Winner is solely responsible for all taxes and fees associated with the prize. Sponsor will report the prize value to the IRS and applicable state authorities as required by law.
10. DISPUTES
Any disputes arising out of this Sweepstakes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. All claims must be resolved individually and without resort to class action. Any legal action shall be brought in a court of competent jurisdiction in Indiana.
11. WINNER LIST
To request the name of the winner, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: The Affordable Dream Foundation – Winner List Request, P.O. Box [Insert], [City, State, ZIP], postmarked no later than March 31, 2026.
